The Girl Who Cannot Cry ..!!!!

This video With the title ” The Girl Who Could Not Cry”, is a topic of both social and environmental cause.

It revolves around the slum area where the girl is born and brought up in very cruel and raw conditions without a hope getting tears all along the long hurdled road. The reason behind the ” NO TEARS” is the most shocking thing which will be revealed in the end of the video.

The below image may give you just a glimpse of what the video is about but the real suspense is entirely different.

In a society where patriarchy is more dominant than the women status, these kind of incidents are very common, but this case is really very different from the rest of the cases as it also relates to the adverse affect of environmental disturbances in the life of a being.

The video below will surely leave you in tears for the reason of why the girl could not cry even after living such hazardous life.

Can you Lift Thor’s Hammer ? ………. This Man Can !!

Can you Lift Thor's Hammer? Its Replica Maybe? Probably Not

Pics Credit : YouTube video uploaded by Sufficiently Advanced
Oh what sorcery is this, now?
Forget Thor’s hammer, it looks like no one is worthy enough to lift even its manmade replica. Well, almost.

Almost every superhero loving person wants to be Thor, the Norse god of thunder. However, a Los Angeles engineer took his fondness for the character to a whole other level. The “Imagination Man” (as he calls himself on Twitter) with enviable scientific know-how has fashioned a hammer just like that of the son of Odin.

Using electromagnets from a microwave oven, touch sensors, some batteries and a couple more things, Allen Pan has made himself a hammer only he can lift, thanks to a fingerprint scanner thrown in the mix.

So what happened when he went out on the streets to show off his super cool gadget? We’ll let you watch the awesome video, with over 7.5 million views on YouTube, to find out.

Note from Allen: “If anybody knows Chris Hemsworth or Stan Lee let’em know that I can register multiple people’s fingerprints to the hammer,” he says on YouTube.

The Best Divorce Letter Ever. This Guy Nails It.

Dear Husband,

I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you for good. I’ve been a good woman to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today and that was the last straw.

Last week, you came home and didn’t notice that I had gotten my hair and nails done, cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new negligee. You came home and ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching the game. You don’t tell me you love me anymore, you don’t touch me or anything. Either you’re cheating or you don’t love me anymore, whatever the case is, I’m gone.

P.S. If you’re trying to find me, don’t. Your BROTHER and I are moving away to West Virginia together!

Have a great life! > Your EX-Wife

Dear Ex-Wife,

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good woman is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch sports so much to try to drown out your constant nagging. Too bad that doesn’t work. I did notice when you cut off all of your hair last week, the first thing that came to mind was “You look just like a man!” My mother raised me to not say anything if you can’t say anything nice.

When you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY BROTHER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago. I went to sleep on you when you had on that new negligee because the price tag was still on it. I prayed that it was a coincidence that my brother had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning and your negligee was $49.99.

After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So when I discovered that I had hit the lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica.

But when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason I guess.

I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said with your letter that you wrote, you won’t get a dime from me. So take care.

P.S. I don’t know if I ever told you this but Carl, my brother was born Carla. I hope that’s not a problem.

Game Changers ? Chinese Submarines All Set To Capture Indian Ocean

Game Changers? Chinese Submarines in the Indian Ocean

Source : The Diplomat  |  Author : P K Ghosh

If media reports are to be believed, the alarm bells in the Indian Ministry of Defence have been ringing again – the ministry was once again taken aback when a modern Yuan-class 335 conventional submarine crossed the Arabian Sea and entered Karachi port on May 22 for a week.

But such “surprises” had occurred earlier, when Chinese boats docked in Sri Lanka at the end of last year – upsetting India considerably – and yet again when the Chinese deployed a Shang-class nuclear submarine for anti-piracy patrols – a unique deployment unheard of in submarine operations. The unending saga of surprises never seems to cease, with little action on New Delhi’s part to respond to its growing concerns about the Chinese operating in an area perceived by many as India strategic backyard.

Indeed, India’s responses have been woefully inadequate, on the equipment front with thirteen aging submarines in its fleet (many of which are under repair) and a long delayed Scorpene project (with the first boat expected to roll out in 2016). The P75I project has yet to even get off the drawing board, hindered by strident calls for it to be a model “make in India” project, albeit with foreign help.

On the strategic front, a pusillanimous attitude towards participating in tri or quadrilateral naval exercises with the U.S., Australia and Japan have placed India in limbo, while attempts to get other friendly littorals within a common maritime security grid have produced mixed results.

To be fair, the Chinese are not doing anything illegal and as a growing maritime nation are only following in the footsteps of earlier rising powers Britain, the U.S., and the Soviet Union by expanding their “power projection” capabilities beyond their immediate waters into the strategically relevant Indian Ocean region. They are in effect following their maritime strategy of “going out” and building relationships across the region for the safety of critical sea lines of communication (SLOCs), while also projecting power. Moreover, Pakistan is scheduled to purchase eight of the modern Yuan-class submarines (Type 093A) and the recent visit would have been a good opportunity to display the operational performance of this class of boats to the buyers.

Many analysts have linked the frequent deployment of Chinese submarines in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) with the unfolding strategic Great Game and the dynamics of the balance of power in the region. However, the question is whether individual Chinese submarines really do serve as “game changers” within the context of the regional dynamics.

It must be remembered that submarines, although they are force multipliers of sorts and create awe amongst adversaries, need to be deployed in constrained spaces such as choke points (whether virtual or real) or off harbors to be effective. Hence, submarines by themselves cannot be game changers in any real sense of the word. However, the Chinese are not just making forays with a few submarines; Beijing plans to build forward bases (virtual or real) for frequent naval deployments in the region while enhancing naval relations with South/Southeast Asian and East African countries in a bid to develop its famous “string of pearls” policy. Needless to say, in any such encirclement strategy, the role of China’s all-weather friend Pakistan will be stellar. Pakistan’s geographical location next to the Gulf, coupled with its growing economic dependence on China, has fostered an ideal symbiotic relationship that could well encourage deep naval partnership.

Interestingly, the Chinese Maritime Silk Route initiative, ostensibly proposed to create economic hubs in the ports of the region and exclusively for trade and economic purposes, may well help enhance maritime relations with these countries. Thus, the deployment of Chinese submarines is indicative of a larger game plan that seems to be unfolding and needs to be analyzed carefully.

Still, at the tactical level the deployment sent a strategic message, especially to the Indian security establishment, which has endlessly debated the implications of the Chinese naval forays into the IOR – specifically, that the People’s Liberation Army Navy has the ability to project and sustain its blue water reach, operating thousands of miles from its base for an extended period of time. Interestingly, the earlier Xia-class Chinese nuclear submarines were unable to operate for even short periods beyond nearby waters. The newer submarines are far superior technologically, with China reaffirming its prowess in creating high-tech weapons platforms.

Given that the Chinese submarines are likely to be found operating frequently in the IOR, the Indian defense establishment must develop some adequate responses, rather than just being alarmed repeatedly. The Ministry of Defence must probe China’s maritime vulnerabilities and stop bending to perceived Chinese apprehensions. At the inventory level it is necessary to reverse the nation’s depleting submarine strength by commencing the P75 I project, while enhancing ASW capabilities on surface ships. At the strategic level, India must encourage quadrilateral naval exercises in the Indian Ocean with its maritime partners, the U.S., Japan, and Australia and undertake expansive maritime relations with the littorals in the IOR. It must take a holistic view of the current developments and bolster naval partnerships in an attempt to get the friendly littorals into a security grid.

The Life in engineering– Changing scenarios after 12th Class

Source: icytales | Author: Ripul

“  Your future is shaped by how you manage your present, learning from the past “

Here, as the topic well suggests, I am going to focus on certain categories of students, coming into an engineering college and the changes that surround their lives once they get just settled, on the basis of my personal experience.
art2 engineering

As soon as the class 10 board exams are over, students tend to get serious , as they are said, “You just have to struggle for the coming two years, rest all will be assured thereafter. ” Most of you must have heard this statement, as have I. Students get the colleges on the basis of their hard work in the board and competitive exams. The change they would be about to face will be similar irrespective of the colleges they get registered in. The following write up is focused on students who go out of their hometown for the purpose of “studying “.

  1. The extreme sincere ones:

Always found with a book in one hand, socially inactive as we know them. These students are all for studies and continue with the same trend in colleges even, whether be an IIT or any other college, these type of students are present everywhere in very small numbers. These remain unaffected with their surroundings and often tend to lecture their colleagues on what is wrong and right, and what you should or should not do.  Never indulging in any bad activities is their slogan for the upcoming 4 to 5 years, along with regularly attending the college. Their life starts and ends in college.  Only around 1 percent of such tend to enjoy the college life, that becomes part of the change around them, that is drifting away from that monotonous college life.2976755407_d865cd672f_b engineering

2. The more sincere and lesser enthusiastic ones:

This group always had a thing for some enjoyment alongside studies. As soon as the college starts, they care about the college academics , but at the same time try and find other “productive ” things to do in the next 4 years , that is becoming a part of any startup, indulging in different college clubs . This is what I meant by drifting away from that monotonous life. But this lot tend to make their life monotonous after a year has passed. Being the sincere ones, they also think of being morally right every time. But the scope of them indulging in the change around them is far more than the above lot, which often is the case. They may not attend lectures regularly, but the academic result is an important aspect for them.

3. The sincere lot (More enthusiastic ones):

As the category suggests, once the college starts, they always try and find exciting and new ways of spending time. College becomes of least importance for them. They try to study, but the company they indulge in restricts them from the same. The first year does much less harm, but what would  unfold, remains a serious threat to their academic life. Their negligence towards college tend to increase and a time comes when they think of it as a mere degree. This can be the case with the above category even, who find friends from this category with the passing time.

4. The carefree ones:alive-444540_640 engineering

These students, from the start of college, are least bothered about academics. With the passing time, after settling and making friends they tend to drift even more. Partying becomes the main pass time, and with the time rolling they often tend to affect the above two categories further, once they get acquainted with each other.

Well, according to me, these are the categories, we tend to find in the engineering background. Well, I have talked about drifting away and change. What exactly do I mean by it? Well, it can be good or bad. The latter categories are much lesser thought to be influenced by the former ones. Exceptions are always there. But yet, the former gets influenced by the latter easily. As is the case with engineering, leaving aside the first category, at some point of time , each of the category suffers from the thought of leading a monotonous life, think much about the latter category, on how they spend their time. They more often tend to think that they can manage studies , do the college according to its requirement ,and at the same time enjoy he four years, which will never come back, because once they are through, an altogether new life will be awaiting them. I don’t say the first category students are wrong in what they do, but they certainly miss some things, which they realize later on.

I say, be .drifting away is important. Because you learn the art of living in these four years, you learn to handle different situations, you get to learn about the people. how deceptive or good people be. Away from home, you are here to do much more than taking the bookish knowledge. (Not to be confused with the fact that Engineering is not important, after all it is the thing we have come to do at the first place.) Drifting away does not definitely mean indulging in foul activities, it means enjoying the life, in order to complete the degree well. It means indulging in new things, sharing ideas, practical knowledge, which is more important than any marks you obtain.

The 2nd and 3rd category often remain part and parcel of these tings. Maybe indulge in one or two indecent activities, they actually come up with what they have to do ahead, which is important and of course thus they tend to move away from such activities which they should not do in that space of time.

Engineering can be many things for many students, but here is when one learns what is good and what is bad for him or her.3526522573_8f40a675b6 engineering

The purpose of this article is not just to showcase the type of students who are present in such system, but to understand the aspect of different things. You tend to find real friends in college, but it then becomes important to get molded together in the right path. The former categories of students, mainly who tend to end up in (3 and 4) after a year or two have passed, are found cursing the system more often than not, due to some failure in academics. But what is important is to understand what has passed has passed, and now they will have to shape their present, planning things accordingly, enjoying, but thinking about their future. The life till the 12th class is very different from what one may find in college, depending upon the company he or she chooses to be in. But, as I said earlier, learning is most important, and even more important is to find out the person you are and realizing how to shape your future.

The categories 1 and 2 tend to go for placements and it is good for them. Mistakes are bound to be committed  ,but as I said earlier, some students from these categories realize the actual aspect of their lives later than the former two, and some remain happy leading that monotonous life, which even further awaits them. It is thus important to learn from the mistakes made in the past and use the experience to shape oneself further. It is important to question the answers at every point , the answers which we get from within on the way we lead or try to lead our life, and thus settle for the thing which is the best for us.

Whatever be the case, the student is affected by the changes both good and bad during the period  of graduation, and certainly develops it in him to inflict what is best for him or her.

I hope you must have understood the reason of my starting quote, now that you have read the article.

Signing off with the Mahatma Gandhi quote:

“Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Bringing Back Humanity : A Chennai Woman Opens Up A Food Bank

Source: icytales | Author: Sneha George

Everyone knows the struggle of street dwellers to feed themselves with three square meals. You do and I do. The question is: what do we do about it? We hope. We hope to see a change, we hope to end poverty, and we hope they are fed. That’s about it! We just hope.

But while we still drown in the sea of hope, Sneha Mohandos, a 23 year old Viscom graduate from Chennai has built the life boat of change by starting a drive called The Food Bank.

Having a big picture in mind of seeing a nation in which no single person goes hungry, Sneha decided to start charity at her hometown, Chennai.

The concept of Food Bank is quite simple: While cooking food for their families, the members of this group also cook extra food for the poor. They then inform Sneha, through Facebook or Whatsapp, once the food is packed and ready for distribution. She sends her volunteers to collect the food packets and distributes them to the street dwellers in different areas.

While some of the poor are apprehensive, many receive the food in gratitude.

What is special about this drive is that Sneha and her volunteers do not just give out food packets from hotels, or any leftovers from their homes, but provide the poor with fresh home cooked food. She feels that when one helps, one must help to the best of their ability. The weak and poor, deserve home cooked healthy food, not just any food.

Volunteers Distributing Food To The Poor

foodn 2

This drive saw its inception in June, and within a period of one month, Food Bank had distributed fifty five packets per day to the poor in Tnagar.

Food Bank started off as a Facebook group with her close friends and relatives and soon went on to have 2895 members from all over Chennai.

“I started the group on Facebook because most of the people spend their time there and many of them might be interested in this but they just need a connecting point” she said.

In the first week of July, the group saw the number of members increasing and orders poured in from different areas. Sneha then created Whatsapp groups for each area to make the process easier. She now has volunteers in Tnagar, Nungambakkam, Adyar, Perambur, Kilapuk, Ashoknagar, Saidapet, West Mabalam and Chetpet who go around collecting food from their respective areas.

The seed of distributing food to the poor was planted in her childhood as she saw her grandparents do the same. So as she grew up, she initially started by giving food to the people in the Sai Baba temple every Thursdays.

But one day after hearing an announcement on the radio regarding the lack of efforts made to help the poor in dealing with the issues of hunger, she decided to change the once-a-year routine to an everyday packaging and distribution of food.

She expressed her hope of eradicating hunger from India when she said; “In the next few years I wish to see every street dweller sleep in peace having had their three meals for the day.”

Till date, more than 12000 packets have been distributed in Chennai.

This humanitarian work by the volunteers of Food Bank is a light to the world that one must break out of their “hope zone” and start making efforts to change the lives of the less fortunate.

Dhoni answers all his critics in fine style!… World reacts to MS Dhoni-inspired Indian victory

                                             Champion of champions

Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led India defeated South Africa by 22 runs in the second one-day international at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Dhoni’s match-saving unbeaten 92 runs ensured India won’t fall again in front of the mighty visitors.

The home team managed to post a competitive total of 247 runs in the first innings with the Dhoni’s captain knock. The inspired Indian bowlers followed the captain and kept the energy level up when they came to field.

Initially, the South African team looked dangerous as Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock gave a thrilling knock like always. But soon, everything started to fall for the Proteas, Axar Patel was brought early in the attack and he didn’t disappoint the captain as charging Amla was beaten by his off side delivery and Dhoni did the rest to stump the batsman.

The Holkar stadium was charged and so were the eleven Indian players in the field. Bowlers kept giving taking wickets in intervals and eventually they restricted the South African at 225 to level the five-match series by 1-1.

The cricket fraternity took to twitter and congratulated team India especially Dhoni for his special innings which came in the aftermath of all the criticism over his career.

South Africa’s Robin Peterson went ‘wow’ over Dhoni’s knock:
